So this is my first shot at an actual outfit of the day post–mostly because I was feeling my outfit, the weather was beautiful and my roommate was available to humor me by playing fashion photographer.

I like to call this outfit “Casual B-List Celebrity Funeral” because that’s where I felt like I was going. I felt glamorously chic but the colors were dreadfully funeral-ready. Black and burgundy are two of my favorite fall colors–that trend will never stop for me.

So here are some photos for my OOTD (namely, me posing around campus trying to be fashion blogger-esque).

Casually using the arm of the chair as a chair. This was taken in front of the library–a boy that was walking by looked confused. My outfit made me feel spooky, so that was cool. I tried to color block it a little by using the burgundy skirt and burgundy lipstick as my only pops of color.

I love fall weather so much–the color palette is amazing, the temperatures are perfect and boots, flannels and jeans are some of my favorite things. Amen to autumn.

So, here’s the part where most fashion bloggers link to their clothes and stuff but nothing I’m wearing is designer–it is all not in stores by now to be honest. I will tell you where I got the things from, in case it’s any help.

Cat-Eye Sunglasses: Forever 21

Black Over the Knee Socks: Forever 21

Heeled Boots That Look Sort Of Like Witch Boots: Charlotte Russe

Burgundy Laser-cut Skater Skirt: Arizona brand from JCPenney

Black V-Neck T-Shirt: Mandee

I have no accessories other than the hair ties that I forgot to take off of my wrist (they matched, though)! I’ve come to realize that I’d be a horrible blogger if I was solely a fashion blogger, but I figured I’d share anyway. Also, shout out to my fabulous friend and roommate Kiera for taking the photos.

How’d I do with my first real OOTD?
