In case you’ve missed any selfie or photograph that included me, here’s some news for you: I’m incredibly fair skinned. Fair skinned sounds nicer than ghostly pale, doesn’t it? I’ve got fair skin with cool undertones and because of this, it’s nearly impossible to find a decent bronzer.
When you’ve got fair skin, bronzer becomes a new level of difficult. If it’s not the perfect shade, you’re at risk of looking dirty, weirdly fake tan or even orange. After a lot of research, trial and error and personal test runs, I’ve gathered some great drugstore bronzers for fair skin.

1. NYC Sun n Bronze – “Hamptons Radiance”
This product mixes very light bronze with beige and light pink, which swirl together to create the perfect light bronze. This shimmery powder is the perfect level of sunkissed for any fair skinned complexion. Unfortunately, it’s not matte, but it does give a very healthy glow and it’s incredibly inexpensive. It’s my go-to out of the best drugstore bronzers for fair skin.
2. Wet n Wild Bronzer – “Reserve Your Cabana”
This drugstore bronzer is great for fair skin because it’s incredibly light. This is for those who want more of a subtle contour rather than wanting to add an intense but natrual bronze glow. It’s the perfect taupe shade which helps you avoid the orange or muddy look–yay!
3. Hard Candy’s Fox In A Box – “Spicy & Sweet”
You might’ve heard of this if you’ve been involved in the beauty world for a while. This product used to be incredibly popular but hype has died out. I’m here to hype you back up–this product is a bronzer mixed with blushes and because of this, it gives a more natural look. This product requires a lot of blending but it gives a natural flushed and bronzed look and is thus one of the best drugstore bronzers for fair skin. The only sad thing about this product is that it’s discontinued and has to be bought on Amazon (even so, it’s still less than $15).
4. Physician’s Formula Bronze Booster – “Light to Medium”
This is the best drugstore bronzer for fair skin if you get some color during warmer months. This bronzer allows you to swirl colors together for each season–the lightest season is winter, which is the perfect shade for fair skin. Unfortunately, this bronzer also has a lot of shimmer,but as long as the rest of your face makeup is fairly matte, it’s a nice glow.
5. e.l.f Studio Bronzer – ” Golden Bronzer”
There’s definitely a trend in my best drugstore bronzers for fair skin and it’s the ability to swirl colors together to get the perfect match. I’ve reviewed e.l.f products before but their powders and studio collection are definitely some of my favorites. This bronzer is great because it allows you to swirl colors together. This bronzer is fairly matte so it’s perfect for selfies!

I’ve never used Hamptons Radiance, but I really like the NYC Sunny Bronzer! I like that it’s matte.
That bronzer is definitely a cult classic! I’m a fan of it as well and I love how inexpensive it is.
