Little ways you're wasting time every day & how to fix them - how to be more efficient // ew & pt

As I was inputting the 10th password guess in an attempt to log into my Twitter account I thought about something: How much time do I waste every day just guessing my damn password? What else am I wasting time on every day that I don’t even realize? Doesn’t all of this add up?

And so this blog post was born. It turns out there’s probably a lot of ways you and I are probably wasting time every single day without even realizing. But a few simple changes could save you a lot of time moving forward.

Quick and easy post-grad full-time working girl makeup routine // ew & pt

Aside from adopting two kittens, one of the most major life changes I’ve experienced recently is starting to work full-time. Gone are the days of chunking all of my classes between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and having swaths of free time in the afternoon! And I certainly miss those free afternoons. As much as I’m a morning person, I’m such an afternoon person. I love the middle of the day, especially when it’s nice out. There’s nothing quite like it and, now, five out of seven of my afternoons a week are spent in an office at work. Fortunately, I really like my job.

Unfortunately, I miss afternoons. That’s not all that’s changed. Another has certainly been my beauty routine! My makeup set up is now a vanity and lots of storage drawers combination whereas, in college, it was my-entire-desk-top and my top desk drawer. But my routine itself has changed, too.

Here’s how I’ve updated my makeup routine for post-grad, full-time job life.

And when giving myself dating advice. They’re more or less the things stopping you from falling in love. Or having a healthy relationship.

They’re pretty legit. So here’s the deal. I’m going to explain these roadblocks in layman’s super basic easy-to-understand- useful terms. And I hope it might help. Here’s what’s holding you back from finding love… or, at the very least, a healthy and happy relationship.

Tarot cards, travel, and trying to figure out what’s next

Processed with VSCO with f2 preset
I’m a cheap bitch. There, I said it! But it fortunately comes with cheap tastes (for some things). My favorite mascara is under $5, my wine of choice is like $6 for a whole bottle, and the sweater I’m wearing cost $15. Because of this, I’m really great at hunting down deals and saving money.
But I also kind of suck at spending it. After about a month, I finally caved and bought myself tarot cards I’d been eyeballing since I first saw them during my trip to Copenhagen. Yes, I caveand spent $16 ($13 because I use cash back like the proud fiscally responsible adult I am now) on tarot cards. And you know what?

It was a friggin great idea.
