Quick + Easy Wear To Class Makeup Look // eyeliner wings & pretty things

When it comes to getting ready in the morning, you’ll want to optimize your time by applying the makeup products that’ll make the most impact and make you look most awake. The areas I’ve found make the biggest difference when all made up are: eyebrows, eyelashes and complexion.

Secondarily, I’ve found that lips and cheeks can also make a huge difference if you’ve got a few extra seconds. Also, I’m totally biased and I know that for the majority liquid liner is not something that takes a minimal amount of time and can be incorporated into a quick morning routine. *Cliche romance novel voice* I’m not like the other girls, I mean, I need to get that wing in every day, after all ya girl’s blog name is eyeliner wings and pretty things.

This quick and easy wear to class makeup look will let you sleep late & look great when you head to class. Yay!

The Ultimate Guide to Using your Computer in College // eyeliner wings & pretty things

I have a confession to make–for my entire life I’ve been a PC girl. Seriously, on my death bed put a PC in my (hopefully) manicured hands and let me type some beautiful last words because PCs are absolutely wonderful and when it comes to using your computer in college, there’s no other computer I could recommend.

Your laptop is what you’re going to be doing all of your work and play on throughout the semester. With this being said, it’s important to make sure you get an affordable yet fantastic computer. There are also a lot of ways to use this computer to personalize and organize your life while staying connected. So here’s the guide to buying a computer, using your computer, keeping it safe, keeping your life organized and making it extra personalized.

Her Conference 2016 Experience

This post is brought to you by Her Conference 2016 and Her Campus Media.

Her Conference 2016 Experience // eyeliner wings & pretty things

I attended Her Conference for the first time this past weekend and I have a lot to say about it. I mean, I always have a lot to say about everything but this next level. This conference was fun and empowering and the only drawback of the entire conference was that the lighting wasn’t optimal for photos and you can totally tell as you advance in the post, I’m not gonna lie. That’s a pretty good drawback if you ask me.

Without further ado, let’s get onto the meaty part of the post with all of the questions you’re dying to ask. Probably not dying to ask, in fact, you’re probably not asking at all but here I am telling.

Unique Things to do in NYC: Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop

I love and hate New York City. I always try to find things to do in NYC that aren’t over-hyped tourist spots or ridiculously expensive and thus I’m excited to share this with you.  I’ve written about unique things to do in NYC and I’ve written about places to go and not to go in NYC on the blog but today I have another unique thing to do in NYC and if you’re down in New York (especially if you love photos, crafting, blogging or just generally aesthetically pleasing places), you must check out the Fujifilm Wonder Photo Shop.
