17 things I’ve learned about myself and my life during this pandemic

17 things I've learned about myself and my life during this pandemic // ew & pt

Wow, it’s been a minute. Well, it’s literally been over a month. I’m in New York (where the pandemic is very, very bad) and for the past month I’ve been in a lockdown, self-isolating and working from home.

Video calls aside, I haven’t seen or interacted with anyone besides my parents and cats for the past month. It’s tough, but I know it’s for the best and I’m lucky to be able to work from home and have a home!

things no one ever told you about being in your 20s

I know it’s best to blog what you know buuut I don’t know much these days. I have two cats, a job I like, a few close friends, and uncertain future plans! Also, my blog turned four years old today but I’m more sad about it than happy.

Anywho. Writing about what I know! Well, I’m in my 20s (barely, I’m 22) and I’ve noticed a few fun and not-so-fun things no one ever told me about this phase of life. So yeah! Here are things no one ever told you about being in your 20s from someone who is literally 22. Maybe they’ll be of use to you.

And when you reach the point where you’re questioning the value and validity of a relationship, it could be time to end or a fix a friendship. But other times, your friendship is simply going through a rough patch and it just needs a bit of extra attention.

In some cases, it can be tough to tell. Although I’m no expert, I’ve been through and been a witness of the evaporation of many friendships, good and bad. And this is what I’ve picked up on.

Here’s how to how to tell if perhaps a friendship is worth putting that extra work into, and how to mend it if it is. And here’s how to end that friendship (in the best way possible) if it just is no longer working.
