Fall Beauty Essentials // eyeliner wings & pretty things

You know those people who lose their minds as soon as September begins and start screaming about Halloween? You might even be one of those people. I’m kind of like that except as soon as September begins, regardless of how hot it is, I’m already losing my mind about how it’s basically AUTUMN! Or fall if you prefer the less pretty word for it.

Fall is my favorite season and makeup is one of my favorite things ergo, fall beauty essentials. I already have fall wardrobe essentials if you’d like to check it out, too!

1. Body Scrub

Exfoliate all of that dead skin from summer! I love using body scrubs in the shower, they’re perfect for getting extra smooth skin.

2. Face mask

As it starts to get colder, your skin can start to look more dull. Plus, face masks always make me feel really productive.

Like, you can use a face mask while you do anything and it requires minimum effort for maximum pretty skin results. Bless.

Bonus points if you turn face masks into a spa night with your friends.

3.Hair butter

Hear me out. It’s basically a bunch of oils mixed together to create a holy grail product that adds shine and moisture to your hair. Basically if your hair is dry and/or frizzy or just needs a little extra oomf, this is perfect. Below is my hair after using the hair butter, it’s much more soft and it feels healthierFall Beauty Essentials // eyeliner wings & pretty things

I like the Pure Oils Silk Elements Hair Butter from Sally Beauty, it smells really nice and you only need a very tiny amount. Emphasis on the tiny amount part–I put in too much a few days ago and it made my hair a little crunchy but last night I put in a little bit and it made my hair extra soft.

5. Body lotion

Again, I love going with warm and cozy scents for this, it helps amp up the fall vibes! I always apply this after a shower.

6. Argan oil

Argan oil is the bomb. My hair is always dry and in the summer I find myself using more heat on my hair because letting my hair air dry generally makes me really cold. More heat = more damage = more need for hair oils. Fall Beauty Essentials // eyeliner wings & pretty things This oil is also nice to apply to your skin if your skin is a little bit dry. I use Silk Elements Pure Argan Oil and just put a small amount in my hair.

Plus, you can find it in Sally Beauty’s Hues of Blues section and it’s under $10!

7. Dark berry lipstick

Dark lipsticks are absolutely perfect for fall and a berry is KEY. Definitely use lip liner when wearing these, it prevents it from bleeding.

8. Brown lipstick

This sounds scary, but it’s a very 90s trend. Brown lipstick is a great way to go bold without venturing too far out of your comfort zone, you feel me?

9. Brick red lipstick

This is a little bit of a terracotta toned sort of red if that makes sense. This color is really trendy for fall and is my new favorite fall beauty essential. Fall Beauty Essentials // eyeliner wings & pretty things 10. Nude lipstick

Honestly, nude lipstick is always an essential. It may not seem important, but it can make a HUGE difference!

A great option for someone who doesn’t like the way matte lipsticks feel and who prefers something that feels more like a balm is the Bitzy Matte Lipstick Crayon in the color “Going Steady.” It’s the perfect dusty pink nude color and it slides on so smoothly. Even though it’s matte it isn’t drying, so that’s a huge plus. It’s also ridiculously affordable, it’s part of Sally Beauty’s Under $10 sale.

11. Army green nail polish

This is my favorite fall color. Army green is always one of my favorite colors but fall is where it’s like actually relevant, you feel me? I love doing army green nails with a gold glitter accent nail.

12. Gold eye shadow/liner.

Gold is such a perfect fall color and it’s a nice way to add a pop of glamour to your look. I love lining my lower lashline with gold or adding some gold to the inner corner of my eye. Even though I’m more of a silver girl, I can get with the gold for autumn. Fall Beauty Essentials // eyeliner wings & pretty things 13. A great top coat

Once again, this is a major key for all year round, but I figured I’d mention it because if you don’t have a good top coat, seek a new one! A lot of people settle for a top coat that doesn’t help their polish last longer but girl, you don’t need to do that.

This top coat is by Finger Paints, was less than $10 and it prevents chipping longer than many other ones I’ve tried. I used it on my nails above and it added a bunch of shine, plus I’ve had that polish on for almost a week!

14. Royal blue nail polish

Jewel tones are perfect for fall. A nice royal blue is going to be one of your go-to’s for this season. This looks really nice with a silver glitter top coat or even just on its own.

The products featured were purchased from Sally Beauty and they currently have a Fall Color Sale Under $10 deal happening with plenty of products under $10, which is great. They have so many great options for beauty products, it’s definitely one of my go-to places to shop this fall! The products I purchased were part of their Hues of Blue. Be sure to follow the Sally Beauty Instagram for more great products!
